Advocacy was a key theme at the 2023 AAP NCE, which culminated in a White Coat Rally for Child Advocacy at the US Capitol on Tuesday October 24. Pediatricians and advocates from around the country gathered on the US Capitol Complex to advocate for child health. Special guest speakers included AAP National President Dr. Sandy Chung, U.S. Representatives Kim Schrier, MD (D-WA) and Yadira Caraveo, MD (D-CO) and DCAAP Chapter members Dr. Lanre Falusi and Dr. Allison Jackson.
