Thank You for Supporting “Messaging that Matters: Building Powerful Advocacy for Child Health”

More than 80 pediatric trainees and providers attended DCAAP’s Annual Advocacy Day. We would like to thank Drs. Sue Kressly and Michelle Fiscus for headlining our educational day. Drs Megan Prior and Amanda Stewart helped set the stage with advocacy primers on social media and testimony preparation. Attendees broke up into groups focused on deep dives into vaccine and Medicaid advocacy. By the end of the day, participants presented sample social media and other content that will contribute to DCAAP’s advocacy library for future efforts. We appreciate the efforts of the attendees and workshop leaders including Drs. Jessica Lazerov, Ankita Khandai, Tamara Gayle Jessica Conteary, Karen Ganacias, Troy Jacobs and event chair/Advocacy Committee Co-chair Libby Ireson.
