Advancing Pediatric Immigrant Health: Clinical, Community, and Advocacy Perspectives
Join the DC Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for an inspiring evening of connection, learning, and action. This year’s Fall Symposium will bring together voices from clinical, community, and advocacy sectors to strengthen our collective efforts in supporting immigrant children and families.
Whether you’re a pediatric provider, school staff member, community leader, or advocate — your voice matters, and your presence will help build a more connected and informed network.
Here’s what we have in store
Powerful talks from Tamar Haro and Dr. Marsha Griffin, leaders in immigrant health and advocacy
Updates on legal rights and clinical best practices for providers
A focus on mental health, legal resources, and tools you can use immediately
A dynamic networking session with local organizations sharing resources, stories, and opportunities for partnership
This symposium isn’t just a lecture — it’s a collaborative space to reflect, share, and build stronger bridges between the clinic, advocates, and the community.
